The film is an adaptation of the Sahitya Akademi award-winning play ‘8 Natakangal’ by Jayaprakash Kuloor. It is centered on man-woman relationships, exploring different aspects of the institution called marriage. It is the remake of the critically acclaimed Kannada film Aidondla Aidu.
